COMPARE DEFENSES
Which build felt more tanky?
Impossible to fairly compare build defenses as it depends on so many things that are hard to measure and compare equally between builds: difficulty of content, layers of defenses, recovery, budget, movement speed, freeze, etc.
Here is my highlty subjective rating and a deaths to /played ratio to try to be more unbiased.

Which build has the most DPS?
Again, hard to know even with POB DPS as it is not real gameplay and does not account the time you run around to avoid bosses attacks without doing any DPS.
Here is my highlty subjective rating and a DPS chart with 2 values: POB Guardian DPS (without all the conditional buffs) and a DPS calculated based on how long it took me to kill the Eater of Worlds at area lvl 84, based on how much HP he’s supposed to have (75 millions). Not all builds are logged in the second chart as I didn’t do the tracking and respeced since. I will be more diligent next patch.

POE 1 Builds List
Death’s Oath Caustic Arrow
After league starting a miner, I wanted a great mapper with as least buttons as possible. So I revisited a classic: Death’s Oath Occultist. I hadn’t tried Vaal Caustic Arrow, I had missed the chaos explosion ASMR sound, and Death’s Oath was buffed in the last patch note.
Crackling Lance of Disintegration Mines
New league! I thought single target DPS would be key to kill these mercenaries. I hadn’t played a miner in a long time, at least since the introduction of Automation Support. I wanted to try a new buffed skill. I wanted an ascendancy that could provide mercenaries some defenses. So here is my Crackling Lance of Disintegration Miner Inquisitor. Spoiler alert, he did the job but my build was not that great!
Volcanic Fissure of Snaking
As I didn’t like the Phrecia end game with the idols, I rerolled to try a new ascendancy and a skill I had never played before. Here come my experience with Ancestral Commander Volcanic Fissure of Snaking.
Righteous Fire Fire Trap
For this Phrecia event start, I was seduced by the prospect of explosion and ignite proliferation with a classic RF build. I played this builds many times in the past, it is one of my favourite, so a great candidate for a return to POE 1 after 3 months and a lot of POE 2.
Lightning Strike Ephemal Edge
After playing around with different starter builds, it was time to use all my currency to create an end game build to do T17 and Ubers.
Frost blades of Katabasis
Loved playing Frost Blades in the past but had never tried Frost Blades of Katabasis. This is RueToo build but I couldn’t find his actual build guide so I follow this YouTube video from Macdri.
This transfigured skill is great, almost auto target and almost ranged. It feels great to play.
Lacerate of Haemorrhage / Vaal Earthquake Bleed
I did not play this character enough for you to trust this scoring and feedback. I levelled the character to lvl 88 with Eviscerate. I wanted to try the new Lacerate and I ended up respecing after 3 levels. Not a bad build, I just didn’t like the skill.
Eviscerate Retaliation Bleed
After 2 Archmage builds, I wanted to try the revisited Gladiator, lucky block, and the new Retaliation skills so I followed Goratha Eviscerate build. I was following a few of his videos but he has now a full build guide.
Ball Lightning of Orbiting Archmage
I transformed my 3.25 Arc Archmage league starter into this Ball Lightning of Orbiting Archmage by simply changing the main skill gem and a support gem (Slower Projectile Support) and my DPS felt like it tripled.
Arc Archmage
My 3.25 league starter. Archmage was buffed in 3.24 and not nerfed in 3.25. I used to despise archmage because of the high cost of spells and when I ended up in a pool of degen, I would loose my mana and wouldn’t be able to escape. Now, you don’t need to raise your mana cost to deal damage so I wanted to give it a new try.
Wave Of Conviction Ignite
This was my league starter for the 3.24 Necropolis Soft Core league. I hadn’t played an ignite build in a while and it seems to be the strongest ignite skill for a league starter.
Dual Strike Of Ambidextry
This is the second build I butchered during the 3.24 Necropolis Soft Core league. I hadn’t played melee in a while and it looked to be one of the strongest melee skill this league alongside Boneshatter.
