For this Phrecia event start, I was seduced by the prospect of explosion and ignite proliferation with a classic RF build. I played this builds many times in the past, it is one of my favourite, so a great candidate for a return to POE 1 after 3 months and a lot of POE 2.

I followed Pohx, the Righteous Fire King. In case you wouldn’t know, he has been playin RF for many years, he sounds to be a great guy, he has a website: https://pohx.net/ dedicated to this build and he had recently published a video with an adaptation of this build for the new Ascendant Scavenger Ascendency.

The main idea is to use the explosion of the Obliteration ascendancy node, get some chance to ignite on your tree and sceptre, ignite proliferation on a cluster jewel (Fan the flame) or glove implicit, and use the Zerphi’s Heart ascendancy node so the chaos damage for the explosion can ignite and get proliferated. Then Shield Charge around with your RF and see everything explode, ignite and prolifate, explode, etc.

Single target: Fire Trap, Wave of Conviction and Flammability.

I levelled with Cobra last until lvl 12, then Poisonus Concoction until the end of Act 3 when you can get Fire Trap. RF can come online as soon as Act 2. It is pretty smooth.

I got my first 2 voidstones but I didn’t play much morer because I didn’t enjoy the idols, I played a lot of Kalguur and I’m not a big fan of the town, and killing Maven with RF and my low skills is really hard. I might try another ascendancy…
